Memorial and Outstanding Service Gifts
- Commemorating a life through a memorial gift:
- An increasing number of people are suggesting donations to Westminster Village in lieu of flowers.
- Others are contributing assets that are no longer needed such as life insurance or retirement account balances.
- Acknowledging Outstanding Service by a member or specific members of our staff or volunteers by making a donation in their name.
Our Wish List
- Donating toward an item or items on our “Wish List,” which fall under several categories:
Resident quality of life
- Fully renovated Health Center 3rd floor (44 beds) including new short-term rehabilitation unit -- $225,000+. Including new beds, bedside tables, and dressers new flooring, wallpaper and paint for each room; and a television for each of the 22 resident rooms. Gift range: $1,000+ Naming opportunities available.
- Handicapped accessible 15-passenger bus for resident transport - $75,000
- Residents’ Circle Endowment Fund – gifts and bequests of any sizes to generate funds to support improvements to Westminster Village and enhancements to residents’ quality of life
- Special funds, such as Chaplaincy Fund, Activities Fund, etc.
Facility enhancements
- Garden Gallery (Artwalk) improvements - $20,000. New lighting, removal of stairwell and gate, space enhancement, new interior landscaping, koi pond. Gift range: $3,000+
“Going Green” Environmental stewardship
- Automatic faucets – to save water throughout the community. 170 automated faucets @$80 per faucet - $13,600 total
- Air cooled ice machine – could save ½ million gallons of water per year! - $3,000
