Support Our Mission
Generosity in Action
Westminster Village is fortunate to have residents, families, volunteers and staff who are committed to ensuring and enhancing the quality of life for all residents at every level of service – now and in the future.
Gifts to Westminster Village over the years have been as varied as the people we serve and have been made directly by individuals, churches, corporations, foundations and government. The Westminster Village Auxiliary actively raises funds to support the varied needs of our residents. Donors, including residents, have supported major capital projects like Campaign Westminster: Giving for Living, for the major renovation and expansion of our Heath Center as well as other campus-wide improvements including Celine’s Garden. Resident-initiated fund drives and personal donations have supported the Residents’ Circle Endowment Fund, special needs including a wheelchair accessible bus, and other projects. Many other gifts, such as for our chaplaincy ministry, recreational equipment, Adult Day Program, and public education programs, have been generously provided by community friends, family members and staff through our employee giving campaigns.
In addition, gifts to Westminster Village help to provide charitable care to those residents who have outlived their personal financial resources. No one has ever been asked to leave the Presbyterian Senior Living system of care because they had outlived their resources. This means if a person does not divest or give away assets, we have an unwavering history of keeping our commitment to the people we serve. In fact, Westminster Village provided $2,569,062 for uncompensated care in 2010.
If you or a loved one have benefited in any way from our services, we invite you to consider extending the gift of quality care and quality of life in any number of ways.
